Ray Pharma has a medium sized, well designed and immaculately maintained manufacturing facility. The entire Facility is environmentally controlled and equipped with the European machines, equipment and instruments required for manufacturing to International Standards of Current Good manufacturing practices (CGMP). The old building has been renovated to create a formulation facility for tablets, capsules and liquid injectables. The plant is laid out to facilitate efficient processing, material handling and personnel movement. All personnel entries are through a change regime. All material entry into manufacturing areas is through air locks. Each production area is flush through 12-15 air changes per hour. The sterile production facility is upgraded and classified as class 100. Powerful dust extraction and pressure differential system are installed to prevent cross contamination.

Quality control and quality assurance are maintained through a well equipped laboratory capable of analyzing raw, packing materials and finished products.

There are separate facilities for physical, chemical and microbiological testing with modern equipments such as dissolution apparatus, HPLC, IR and UV spectrophotometer. The microbiology laboratory is also fully equipped to cater the requirement of monitoring of sterile area.

The laboratory has been set up according to the specifications of BP, USP and European Pharmacopoeia and equally stringent in-house specifications

• Sterile Facility

  A State of art liquid sterile facility is designed to cater ampoule & vial production. The facility has two separate filling areas equipped with renowned Rota German make ampoule filling machines under laminar flow. The filling area is classified as class 100. The liquid sterile Manufacturing area is capable to manufacture various batch sizes ranging from 20 to 300 liters. All the manufacturing is done under class 100 facility. An extremely advanced fully computerized Holland made sterilizer enables any sterilization process, in built clean steam generator and leak test system is also installed in between equipment wash & manufacturing facility. The washing area is classified as class 10,000 with two Bausch & Stroebel German make high efficiency washing machines capable of washing amp/vials. The whole sterile area is epoxy coated. Dedicated & efficient 38 TR HVAC, inline hepa filters are installed with pressure differential system to prevent cross contamination.
